God Kangaroo? What does that even mean?!

Here's the note I wrote in my phone feverishly at about 9 am after having this dream. Though I'll be tweaking it, this part of a dream I had is my entire source of inspiration for this film. That and whatever weird trippy imagery my subconcious conjured for me that night. Forewarning, there is suicide mention in this film and there will be more talk of it going forward, though at least for my sake if not for all of yours, I won't be speaking in detail about the character's thought process in depth for now.

"There’s a creepy Uber driver guy, kinda young, who’s driving recklessly down a highway. He's wearing a gray hoodie and a black beanie, with facial piercings, eyeliner, and shaggy black hair. Stereotypical emo kid look.

The more annoyed he gets, the old lady he’s driving keeps talking about some sort of sign that she’s seen. He has no clue what she’s talking about, and continues to get more frustrated. The old woman is a short, very old black woman, who's clearly ripped straight from Mama Odie from Princess and the Frog. The difference being she has more jewelry and her clothing is heavily patterned and gold, though the tones are dulled by the foggy darkness of the environment.

Eventually he keeps driving faster and faster until he crashes into something on the side of the road.

They both get out to check the damages. there’s a ditch next to the car that looks like someone just dug something up.

The old lady says “it’s my time,” and falls into the ditch, dead. The Uber driver kid assumes that he killed her in the crash somehow and shoots himself. Cut to the after life.

The old lady is a huge fantastical beast, much like a kangaroo, sitting atop a throne, pulling golden threads like a puppeteer. The imagery is very similar to a golden stained glass window.

The kid looks up at her and tries to apologize. She says it’s ok, and that the only one who needs to apologize is her. He had more time on earth left and it's her fault that was cut short.

She guides him into the afterlife city, where he meets people who had passed earlier in his life, and he's with his lost found family once more.

Happily ever after I guess. Even tho they’re all dead."
